MEET DEMETRIS E. THOMAS
Demetris E. Thomas is a native of Boston, Massachusetts, and a proud mother of two. She is an accomplished author, gourmet chef, certified mindfulness coach, credentialed minister, and former educator who has dedicated her life to empowering others through faith, resilience, and purpose.
A survivor of both cancer and domestic violence, Demetris transforms her lived experiences into messages of hope, healing, and restoration. Her work centers on helping individuals overcome adversity, reclaim their strength, and experience wholeness through spiritual growth, self-awareness, and God-centered healing.
Demetris earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Springfield College, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Recognized for her academic excellence and leadership, she served as a licensed Early Education teacher in several inner-city programs and with Boston Public Schools, where she was known for her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to educational excellence.
She is the author of Fallen Prey – No More: The Conspiracy of Silence and A Rose Is Still a Rose – Plucked Out of Madness into God’s Grace, two deeply personal works that reflect her journey through trauma, faith, and healing.
In 2017, Demetris founded ChosenWarriorBride, LLC, an empowerment and healing organization dedicated to inspiring individuals to embrace their stories, reclaim their power, and live in emotional, spiritual, and personal wholeness. Her message is clear: adversity is not the end, it is the beginning of transformation.
